Other Airports

Note: Especially those making long-distance flights should also consider the airports in Milan: By train, they are about 2–3 hours farther away than Verona and cost about 40 Euros more (round trip); but the plane fares can be hundreds of Euros lower.

For example, a round trip between New York or San Francisco and Milano Malpensa (MXP) for the time of the conference can be booked (in December 2008) for prices starting at a total cost of about $1200. For flights on the same dates to and from Verona, the prices start at about $1500 (from New York) and $1800 (from San Francisco).
